Overview

All Nicola Clemmit Consultancy services are aimed at adults who require advice and guidance on their own CV, covering letter and/or application form, as well as adults who require guidance and advice on interviews and presentations, and/or assessment centres they have scheduled or anticipate to have scheduled in the future for themselves.

The advice and support Nicola Clemmit Consultancy provides is a guide to help and support with client’s CV, covering letter, online application form, interview, presentation and/or assessment centre the client may either have booked or are intending to achieve.

Nicola Clemmit Consultancy’s main target markets are adults who are struggling to be successful in the recruitment process, adults who are struggling to succeed in applications for their next career move, adults who have not experienced the recruitment process in a long time and need to refresh their recruitment skills, and graduates and non graduates who require support and advice on the recruitment process.

All services are booked and paid online prior to the service being delivered. All payment for Nicola Clemmit Consultancy services is by online payment methods only. All document reviews will be emailed to the client and all appointments will be conducted over the telephone using client contact details provided on the booking form.

Conditions of joining and accessing the services of Nicola Clemmit Consultancy

To sign up to use the service client’s must first comply with the following points:

  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Be UK based and be applying for positions based in the UK
  • Have the right to work in the UK and fulfil all the requirements of the job they are applying for
  • Be accessing Nicola Clemmit Consultancy services for the client’s own use and not someone else’s
  • Not be in conflict of interest with my other employment – this will be established at the time of booking and if the business interaction is in conflict of interest Nicola Clemmit Consultancy will not be able to provide our services and will provide a full refund if payment has occurred.
  • Provide correct and true information to Nicola Clemmit Consultancy in all documents and communications.

If a client accessing any Nicola Clemmit Consultancy service are found to have contravened the conditions of joining the service their support will be terminated immediately without notice and all payments will be held without return – with the exception of the conflict of interest clause above where services will be terminated immediately and a full refund will be provided. Nicola Clemmit Consultancy reserves the right to seek further action for damages where appropriate dependent on the individual situation.

Nicola Clemmit Consultancy Obligations to Clients

When a client purchases a document review from Nicola Clemmit Consultancy Nicola Clemmit Consultancy must receive the client’s CV, covering letter or application form document as well as confirmation the client accepts the terms and conditions of Nicola Clemmit Consultancy Services, before Nicola Clemmit Consultancy can provide the feedback service within 48 hours. Therefore Nicola Clemmit Consultancy offers feedback on CV, covering letter and application form review services within 48 hours of receiving payment for the service, the client’s document via email and confirmation the client accepts the terms and conditions of Nicola Clemmit Consultancy.

CV, covering letter and online application form review services are strictly for 1 document per transaction i.e. one CV, one covering letter or one application form per transaction.

The interview appointment, general recruitment process and follow up appointment are all 30 minutes in length each – it is recommended that each appointment will be focused on one role/interview.

The complementary consultation call is a 5 minute free call to identify whether Nicola Clemmit Consultancy services meet the client’s requirements, it is not an advice and/or support appointment.

The recruitment process is subjective and therefore Nicola Clemmit Consultancy cannot, and does not, guarantee the client will be successful through using Nicola Clemmit Consultancy services and Nicola Clemmit Consultancy is not responsible if the client is unsuccessful in the application/recruitment process.

The service Nicola Clemmit Consultancy provides is the perspective and opinion of Nicola Clemmit Consultancy on the client’s documents and/or the client’s recruitment process questions and concerns. Nicola Clemmit Consultancy cannot know exactly what questions will be asked of the client and exactly what the recruiter is looking for as this is subjective. Therefore Nicola Clemmit Consultancy may not talk through the exact interview questions and recruitment process stages and exercises the client encounters in their actual interview or recruitment process experience. Nicola Clemmit Consultancy is not responsible for the client’s actions and how they interpret the information received through Nicola Clemmit Consultancy.

Nicola Clemmit Consultancy is not liable to client’s for any direct loss, any indirect, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of income, revenue, savings, loss of business relationships or contracts, loss of reputation or goodwill, or loss of corruption of information or data loss.

Nicola Clemmit Consultancy aims where possible to respond to any other general email queries outside of set services within 24 hours. Where this is not possible Nicola Clemmit  Consultancy aims to provide a message or note on our website to specify this.

Client Obligations

The client must pay for the service online, accept the terms and conditions of Nicola Clemmit Consultancy services and send their CV, covering letter or application form document before Nicola Clemmit Consultancy can provide the feedback service within 48 hours. Therefore Nicola Clemmit Consultancy offers feedback on CV, covering letter and application form review services within 48 hours of receiving payment for the service, the client’s document via email and confirmation that the client accepts Nicola Clemmit Consultancy terms and conditions.

Minimum notice to booking an Interview appointment, follow up appointment or general recruitment process appointment is 6 hours prior to the appointment time.  Maximum advanced booking for an appointment is 1 week.

If the client does not answer their telephone within 10 minutes of the booked appointment time on the telephone number the client provides at time of booking, or the telephone number the client provides is not correct, the appointment will be cancelled and will be non refundable.

All information provided by the client to Nicola Clemmit Consultancy or/and an employer including, but not limited to, dates of appointment, career achievements, qualifications, right to work in the UK and criminal convictions must be factually correct. Nicola Clemmit Consultancy absolves all responsibility if a client displays incorrect information on their CV or a client submits factually incorrect information about themselves on their application to an employer.

The client must only provide information about themselves which is for a job application for themselves, the client can not purchase any service on behalf of a third party.

The client must meet all terms and conditions in this document.

The client is responsible for their actions following the services provided by Nicola Clemmit Consultancy.

Terms of Payment

Payment must be received before the service or appointment is confirmed.

Payment is accepted online only and at the time of the booking.

If a client’s online payment is unsuccessful the appointment will not be booked or confirmed.

Right to cancel

The client has the right to cancel their interview appointment, general recruitment process appointment or follow up appointment within 12 hours of the appointment start time. If the client cancel’s with less than 12 hours notice of the appointment start time the client will be charged the full amount of the service.

The Client can cancel their CV, covering letter and/or application form review within 12 hours of purchasing the service. If cancellation occurs after 12 hours of booking the service the client will be charged full price.

Nicola Clemmit Consultancy has the right to terminate a booking at any time. If this happens for a reason other than the client failing to meet the terms and conditions of Nicola Clemmit Consultancy the client will be given a refund.

Nicola Clemmit Consultancy also collects data when booking telephone appointments to ensure the client meets the Terms & Conditions of joining and accessing the services of Nicola Clemmit Consultancy. This data is stored in a secure electronic location which is password protected. This data is collected by a third party booking system which is secure. This data will not be share with any third party.

Nicola Clemmit Consultancy collects payment online which are processed through a reputable and secure third party provider.

  • Data Use

Personal data will not be shared with any third party other than those third party systems Nicola Clemmit Consultancy uses to store subscriber email list and send newsletters from, process client appointment booking and process online payment, all of which are reputable and secure.

Client data held is used to send communications on Nicola Clemmit Consultancy news and updates via email, to process appointment booking and payment, and to review a document as part of a document review i.e. CV , covering letter or online application document reviews.

  • Data Storage

All personal data is stored in secure electronic locations which are protected by strong passwords. All reputable third party systems used to store email addresses for marketing purposes, process appointment bookings and process payment are all reputable and secure systems.

Any documents submitted for document review services will be deleted within 7 days of the service completion date. All email communications will be deleted within 6 months of email receipt.
